Call of Duty Black Ops 6 set to receive a Squid Game collaboration in 2025

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 will receive a brand new collaboration with Squid Game in 2025. This was just announced on the official Call of Duty X account, so it’s assumed that it will reflect in both Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

The entire nature of this collaboration is still unclear but it’s guaranteed that the developers will be looking to add fresh cosmetics to the game.

Furthermore, there’s also a chance that the developers might end up adding a game mode that’s similar to the game showcased in Squid Game.

This collaboration comes at a very interesting time, because the Black Ops 6 community has been calling out the developers for obnoxious skins and death animations.

It’s safe to say that the special cosmetics are jarring to the eye, so Activision will have to be a tad bit careful with what kind of cosmetics they wish to include in the game this time.

Most fans have reacted positively to the news of this collaboration, because this is unexpected to say the least. But there’s a lot of hype behind the Black Ops 6 x Squid Game collaboration already.

So far, there’s only a release window for the same so we’ll have to wait to see when the developers release the collaboration. If there’s limited time mode associated with it, then you can expect this event to run for a couple of days to a maximum of two weeks.

One player said, “If this is a game mode that they’re adding , this is gonna be sick. Even if it’s operator skins, it’s gonna be sick,” while another added, “This gotta be the best collab call of duty ever did can’t wait.”

However fans have also pointed out that the developers need to include a functional anti-cheat to ensure that cheating is reduced, especially in the Ranked playlist in Black Ops 6.
