Arcana Cards are a brand new mechanic in Hades 2 and can help improve your gameplay as you progress through the game.
These are small power-ups that grant you certain abilities which will either help you survive better or deal more damage to the enemies that you face in this roguelite game.

How to unlock all Arcana Cards in Hades 2
After you’ve died and respawned for the first time at the Underworld, you’ll find an Altar in Hades 2. Before you meditate at this Altar, make sure you speak to the Headmistress who will give you 10 Ash.
Use this Ash to meditate at the Altar and you’ll unlock your first Arcana Card. To unlock the rest, you’ll need more Ash, which you can find as you keep exploring the world.
How to use Arcana Cards in Hades 2
Each card has a Grasp cost, and the number of Arcana Cards in Hades 2 that you can activate at any given time depends on the amount of Grasp that you have available.
These Arcana Cards are passive in nature, meaning you don’t need to press a button to activate them in combat.

You’ll start the game with 10 Grasp, but to get more, you’ll need to spend Psyche, a reward that you earn by clearing rooms.
