The Silver-Haired Echo Trainer is one of the many side quests that you will get to complete in Wuthering Waves. In the mission, you and Chixia try to help Jingzhu who is an old patient trying to woo a lady.
He is looking to accomplish it by defeating enemies and acquiring their Echoes. Many of these encounters will be quite challenging, so make sure you have the best party equipped for it.
There are three parts to the quest and each of them plays out differently. However, you will get a lot of rewards for completing them, which include Union EXP, Shell Credits, Advanced Sealed Tubes, and more.

How to start the Silver-Haired Echo Trainer quest in Wuthering Waves
To start all three parts of the quest you will need to interact with Chixia and Jingzhu in Jinzhou. You will find them after teleporting to the Resonance Nexus in Jinzhou.
Head to the northern gate of the city to find Chixia talking to an old man. Approach them and interact with them to kick off the questline.
How to complete Wuthering Waves Silver-Haired Echo Trainer 1
For the first part of the mission you will need to talk to Chixia and then select the option “I’m Ready”. A navigation marker will then appear on the map, so make your way to the area to find Chixia and Jingzhu waiting for you.
Interact with them and start the Tacet field encounter. You will have three Havok Warriors to defeat, and once you take them out, they will drop an Echo.
Collect it and head back to Jinzhou to talk to Jingzhu again and prepare him for his speech to woo Linghan.
For the final portion of this quest, talk to Linghan and use the Projector to project an Echo. You can use the Projector by:
- Opening the main menu (hit Esc) and then navigate to Utilities.
- Now select a slot (preferably an empty one) and then click on the Projector icon.
- Now exit the main menu and press “T” to bring up the Projector menu.
- Select th Echo that you want to project to begin a cut scene.

How to complete Wuthering Waves Silver-Haired Echo Trainer 2
For the second part of the quest, go and talk to Jingzhu once more, you will find him with Chixia. This time he will ask you to do a simulation battle in the Echo Training grounds, so you will need to go and talk to Instructor Yhan.
You will find him pretty close by, almost directly to the West of Jingzhu and Chixia. Interact with him and select the option “I want to train Echoes”. You will now get a Sealed Tube mission which will have a recommended level of 35.
Start the encounter and you will get a horde of enemies to fight. You will need to defeat all of them in 300 seconds, so make sure you have our best party formation for the challenge.
After completing it, talk to Yhan again and then Jingzhu. Exhaust his dialogue and then head over to where Linghan lives to round out the quest.
Talk to her and continue with the conversation till you “Re-release the enhanced Havoc Warrior”. Once the interaction ends, Linghan will once again have turned down Jingzhu’s advances.
Once you have completed Silver-Haired Echo Trainer 2 in Kuro Games‘ title, you will get the following rewards:

How to complete Wuthering Waves Silver-Haired Echo Trainer 3
For the third part of the questline Jingzhu will task you to get Tuners from Tacet Fields. Tuners are used to fine-tune Echoes which eliminate any “unwanted noise and bolster their strength”.
To start the quest, talk to him once more (you will find him with Chixia again). Finish the interaction and head to the quest marker which should be right to the north of Qichi Village. There should be a Resonance teleporter nearby if you have already explored the zone.
You will find Jingzhu there with Chixia and you will once again have to fight three Tacet Discords in the Tacet Field. Defeat them and talk to the quest-giver, exhaust all the dialogue options and you will get the following rewards:
- Advanced Tuners x10
- Medium Tuners x 10
Use the tuners to tune one of your Echoes (preferably pick the one you rely on the most) and then head back to Jinzhou to talk to Linghan. However, you will not find her home and you will need to talk to the townfolks and her grandchild to find out that she might have gone missing.
The next quest marker will be in Loong’s Gaze Suburbs. Head there and talk to Jingzhu, then help him follow Linghan’s trail into the mountains. You will now find her surrounded by three Tacet Discords.
Defeat them and talk to Jingzhu, who seems to have dropped the Noctemint nearby. Retrieve it and exhaust all of his dialogue options.
To round out the quest make your way back to Jinzhou to speak to Jingzhu one last time. Complete the conversation and you will have successfully completed the last part of the Silver-Haired Echo Trainer quest in Wuthering Waves and get the following rewards:
