How to obtain and use the Mid-Air Maneuvering Module in The First Descendant

If you are looking to improve your mobility, the Mid-Air Maneuvering is one of the best Modules you should be looking to get in The First Descendant. It changes some of the core properties of your Grapple Hook when equipped, and it will make it significantly easier to complete some of the more annoying jumping puzzles in the shooter.

As is a sub-mod, it will help increase your Module Capacity, letting you equip more mods for your Descendant. Here is a guide on how you can get and use the  Mid-Air Maneuvering Module in The First Descendant.

How to get the Mid-Air Maneuvering Module in The First Descendant

Void Fragment mission Sterile Lands

To get the Mid-Air Maneuvering Module you will need to farm the Void Fragment in the Restricted Zone located in the Sterile Lands. However, do keep in mind that it has a 1.5% chance of dropping which is very low.

If RNG is not on your side then you are likely going to be spending hours trying to get your hands on it.

To farm the Void Fragment, you will need a Descendant who has a Fire attribute. Fire skills are the only things that will let you break the fragment and you will have to go through three phases of enemies to complete it.

An alternate way of getting the Mid-Air Maneuvering Module will be to defeat Elite enemies who have a yellow HP bar when completing content in the  Anticipated Ambush Point in the Rockfall area of Sterile Land.

The drop chance is less for this method as well, so don’t expect to get your hands on the Module right away.

What makes the Mid-Air Maneuvering Module so very popular amongst players is the fact that it will let you grapple to the air. You will not need to hit any grapple points directly when you have it equipped and you can just grab onto the air and propel your descendant to the target.

However, you will need to land for the Module ability to reset. You will not get two consecutive grapples in the air before you land.

It’s one of the best Modules for maneuvering around the map and even getting out of sticky situations, especially if you have been surrounded by enemies.
