How to obtain all Gourd Drinks and Soaks in Black Myth Wukong

Encounters will get increasingly harder as you progress in Black Myth Wukong, making you more reliant on your Gourd Drinks and Soaks. These items can come in clutch in various situations so it’s best that you spend some time in exploration and getting your hands on as many of these drinks as you can.

Drinks and Soaks are scattered throughout the game’s regions, and you will usually find them settled in glowing kettles and containers. However, exploration is not the only way of finding these items, as some can be obtained through purchase by talking to the Shen Monkey.

Here is a guide on how you will be able to acquire every single Gourd Drink and Soak in Black Myth Wukong.

How do Gourd Drinks and Soaks work in Black Myth Wukong

Your gourd is a separate piece of equipment that is primarily used to restore your missing HP. It will determine the number of charges that you have by default.

Drinks, on the other hand, determine the amount of healing that the drink provides, and can offer secondary combat buff. However, each drink comes with a slot number which you will need to keep in mind before equipping them.

Finally, Soaks are the items that are equipped in each drink’s available slots. Soaks are perfect for acquiring a secondary effect apart from healing, which will give you an additional stat bonus.

You will be able to check all the drinks and soaks that you have acquired in your journey by clicking on the Brew option in the main menu.
