The Betrayer Trait is the best when it comes to grinding your way through every PvE content in Verse Piece. However, the trait itself is pretty hard to get as there is a certain tricky quest you will have to complete in order to obtain it.

How to complete the Betrayer quest and get the trait in Verse Piece
To get the Betrayer Trait in Verse Piece, you will need to first complete the Betrayer quest. You can do this by taking to the NPC who is located on top of a rock that surrounds the Lost Isle.
This is the island where bosses automatically spawn, and you will need to meet the following requirements to round out the quest:
- You need to have a minimum level of 5000 or above.
- You have to kill 50 players when the quest starts.
While being max level (or at least above 5000) is easily achievable, getting 50 kills in PvP is where the difficulty of this quest lies. The quest will be even more challenging if you do not have access to some of meta weapons and specs.
Fortunately, there is an account trick that you can try to cheese your way to 50 kills. Just make an alternate account and join the server that your main account is on, your main account can farm the kills off of the alternate account.
However, when a character dies in PvP you will not be able to damage them for a few minutes. You can bypass this by hitting the Respawn button when the character on your alt account dies. So just keep repeating the trick 50 times and you will get your hands on the Betrayer trait.
Note: Make sure to use a trait that you don’t need when trying out this exploit. This is because Betrayer will automatically replace your current trait upon quest completion.
Betrayer trait stat and bonus in Verse Piece
When you get your hands on the Betrayer trait, your character will automatically get an x7.5 Damage Multiplier as well as a +75000 to their Defense. This makes the trait ideal for grinding through all the PvE content that Verse Piece throws at you.
