Considering that the error appears whenever you’re trying to access multiplayer elements, the common consensus amongst the Elden Ring community is that you avoid accessing these features for the time being. Alternatively, you could also try restarting your device.
If that doesn’t work, head to your Steam library and verify the integrity of the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree game files. In case there’s some problem with the files, Steam will automatically download the missing files and update the game.
Why does the “Inappropriate activity detected” error occur in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC?
This error occurs whenever the anti-cheat software detects some irregularities within the game files. This could be associated with the following reasons:
- Using mods or trainers
- Incompatible game files
In case you get this error while trying to summon someone else, but you’re not using any mods or trainers, there’s a high possibility that the player you’re trying to summon is using something like that.
