Fortnite leaks suggest Avatar collaboration is right around the corner

At this point, collaborations in Fortnite are more common than anything. And in Chapter 6, which begins December 1 after the Juice WRLD live event, you can look forward to unlocking characters from the Avatar movie franchise.

Prominent Fortnite leakers such as iFireMonkey and ShiinaBR have approved a leak suggesting that Avatar-based content could be added to the Battle Royale anytime soon.

While there’s no information on a release date, it shouldn’t be a shock if things become official as soon as in Chapter 6.

The Fortnite x Avatar collaboration has been rumored for quite some time, and many had assumed that Avatar skins would be featured in Chapter 5 of Season 2. As it turns out, the collaboration did happen, but it was based on the Avatar Korra from the series The Legend of Korra.

The Legend of Korra is a continuation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, an anime series that began in 2005. For now, the Avatar set in the game features characters like Aang, Katara, and Korra.

Back in August 2024, ShiinaBR supported similar claims surrounding the imminent launch of Avatar skins. No Na’vi-themed cosmetics have been confirmed as of yet, but it is safe to assume that Jake Sully and Neytiri will be some of the first characters to appear in the Item Shop.

In the Avatar movies, members of the Na’Vi species are much bigger than an average human being. So, to incorporate these massive entities in the Fortnite universe, Epic Games will potentially replicate its strategy for adding Thanos, All Might, Optimus Prime, and other similar characters.

Considering that the Avatar franchise boasts two of the three highest-grossing films of all time, it is actually a surprise that this collaboration isn’t out yet already. Regardless, we suggest you take the aforementioned leaks with a grain of salt.
