Dragon Ball Sparking Zero complete Shenron Summoning guide

As you make your way through the various missions and stages in Sparking Zero you will be able to unlock Dragon Balls which will then let you summon Shenron and have a wish granted. The system is pretty similar to the Budokai Tenkaichi games, however, it does come with a few caveats.

Here is a guide on everything you need to know about summoning Shenron and getting him to grant you a wish in the arena fighter.

How to get Dragon Balls in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

Shenron Sparking Zero

To summon Shenron, Porunga, and Super Shenron you will first need to obtain all seven of the Dragon Balls that they are linked to. The method for getting the Dragon Ball of each dragon is a bit different, and we go over some easy ways of acquiring them.

1) Shenron

Shenron’s Dragon Balls are the easiest to unlock. All you will need to do is to complete Zen-Oh’s Orders and Whis’ Stamp Book. The balls are awarded as a drop for completing the challenges, however, there can be some RnG to this.

Another way of getting Shenron balls will be to play battles in the battle section of the main menu. There is RnG to this and you will unlock a ball if you are very lucky.

2) Porunga

Porunga’s Dragon Balls are obtained randomly from regular matches. There is no set way of farming them, and while one might be led to believe that playing missions on Namek will increase the drop chance for this ball, that is most certainly not the case.

Porunga balls will appear randomly so don’t try to farm them, you will just burn yourself out.

3) Super Shenron

The Super Shenron Dragon Balls are the hardest ones to collect. You will gain access to one free wish from him if you have purchased the Ultimate Edition of the title. You will also be awarded all of his balls if you complete Goku’s Episode Battle and Future Trunk’s Sparking Episodes.

Apart from these guaranteed ways, th Super Shenron balls will be a random drop from any mission or battle you boot up.

Characters obtained from Shenron Wish

All three of the Dragons have the same set of wishes that they rotate through. There is no wish that is unique to them, and every time you summon them there will be a set number of them that they will provide. However, the wishes that you get will follow some parameters.

Here is a list of all the Dragon Wishes in Sparking Zero:

WishDescription
I want more ZeniYou will get a significant chunk of Zeni which you can then spend on the shop to unlock more characters and cosmetics.
I want more titlesIf you select this wish you will be given a choice between a few unique titles that you can only earn through Shenron.
I want you to raise my Player LevelPicking this wish will make Shenron increase your player level by a lot. Increased player levels will make more items appear in the shop. The max level is 20 and even without the wish you will eventually get there by completing story missions.
I want new outfitsThis wish will make Sheron reward you with a few outfits for some select characters in Sparking Zero. It’s a good way of unlocking more cosmetics for your favorite characters.
I want new ability itemsAbility items are just capsules that you use to customize characters in Sparking Zero. Ability items like Broly’s Ring are exclusive to Shenron so you will want to pick them up when you summon the dragon.
I want to complete an Episode BattleWith this wish, you will receive a Dragon Orb which will help lower the difficulty of a secondary condition in any Episode Battle match. It’s one of the better wishes in the game as it will make it much easier to unlock the what-if scenarios.
I want more charactersThis wish is likely specific to Super Shenron and you can use this wish to unlock Goku Black and Fused Zamasu. These two characters can only be unlocked through the Dragon’s Wish.
