Taash is one of the seven companions that you will be able to romance in Dragon Age The Veilguard. However, to be able to successfully do so, you will need to trigger their “heart sign” conversation options as much as possible by boosting your affinity with them.
While it might look easy on the surface, there are a few nuances that go into romancing Taash. Their route is a bit more complicated than the other companions in the RPG, but if you are serious about growing a relationship with them, here is a guide that will help you with just that.
How to romance Taash in Dragon Age The Veilguard

Here are some steps that you will need to follow in order to romance Taash in Dragon Age The Veilguard:
Step 1: Recruit Taash
To romance Taash you will first need to recruit them. Once you have defeated Minrathous or Treviso head back to the lighthouse and you will find that either Lucanis or Neve have left. Now with their disappearance, and with what you have learned in the previous quest, you will then be led to search for a dragon hunter.
You will now unlock “The Dragon Slayer” quest line which will eventually lead you to Rivain and by just following the objectives you will be able to recruit Taash.
Once she has become one of your companions, further dialogs with them will provide you with further insight into their relationship with their mother. It’s around this relationship that Taash’ entire romance route revolves around.
Step 2: Pick the right options during their romance events and quests
Here are all the quests and events that revolve around improving our relationship with Taash:

Step 3: Boost your Approval with Taash
While some of Taash’s Romance Events are unlocked automatically, there are some that are locked behind an approval system. Approval increases your relationship with them which will then let you gain access to some of their major quests.
Here are the best ways to increase your approval with Taash in Dragon Age The Veilgurd:
- Take Taash out on missions and quests. Make them one of the primary party members and during conversation pick Sarcastic or Aggressive responses. Taash approves of this the most. She also likes Kind and Fearful responses from time to time, however, that will depend on the situation that you are in.
- Picking actions that Taash will approve of will drastically improve your approval with them. One example is when you are given a choice to knock some sense into the First Warden. If you wish to knock him out, Taash will greatly approve of your action.
- Finally! Pick Taash’s side every time she is arguing with a companion. You will usually find them bickering with Emmrich the Necromancer. It’s their distaste towards necromancy that leads to all the arguments, so make sure you intervene and side with them. However, do keep in mind that t
