Best Greatsword-Wand PvE build in Throne and Liberty

The best Greatsword-Wand build combines the crowd control potential of the Greatsword and the Wand in Throne and Liberty. The combination is capable of CC-locking the enemies and then bursting them down with enhanced charge attacks.

The build will let you solo content as well as fill the role of a capable damage dealer when in a party. However, the weapon class combination is a bit hard to master due to its lack of mobility and range.

It’s also very skill rotation-reliant and you will need to perfect your combo timings to make the most of it. However, once you have mastered the set-up, you will have a much easier time melting through bosses and mobs in the MMO.

Greatsword-Wand build overview (CC for days)

Greatsword-Wand Throne and Liberty

The “CC for days” Greatsword-Wand build in Throne and Liberty, will let you play the role of a Paladin who has great sustain and a fair number of crowd control tools up their sleeves. The setup relies on the Greatsword’s ability to Stun/Shock and the Wand’s ability to put targets to Sleep. Then the enemy is afflicted by a status ailment, your charged attacks will then deal bonus damage.

What makes the build difficult to pilot is its heavy reliance on keeping the target CC-chained. This means that you will have to get the timings on your spell rotations pitch perfect. It also makes the build lack consistent DPS. While it can burst targets down very fast, you will be having a rough time if you are missing your core combos.

When making the Greatsword-Wand build in the early game make sue to prioritize Strength first and take it to 50. This will improve your survivability and Heavy Attack Chance allowing you to deal massive damage on crowd-controlled targets.

After Strength focus on Widom, for more mana and lesser Cooldown on your skills. After taking Wisdom to 50, put the rest of your points in Dexterity for more Crit Hit Rate.
